Champagne de Sousa — Chemin des Terroirs

Chemin des Terroirs

Champagne de Sousa | Brut

Yesterday's bottle, a – "Chemin des Terroirs" was actually way too warm, since it came fresh from the retailer directly to me, once through the heated car air and that at 5:00 PM.
But: No problem when the Beezer is on board!

️ The Beezer is a clever gadget for all wine and champagne fans - The technology behind it is pretty awesome:

️ The Beezer works with a specially developed process that is patent-pending worldwide. ️ After a short pre-cooling phase, the device is ready to go. ️ A bottle is then surrounded by air of up to -30°C extremely quickly and evenly. ️ The bottle rotates constantly, which distributes the cold perfectly – this whole thing is called forced convection.

Sounds fancy – and it works!

My freshly bought champagne was at about 59°F before the Beezer process – after just 3 minutes it had the perfect drinking temperature of 45°F and arrived in the glass at a relaxed 46-48°F. Just right!

With a bottle at room temperature it takes about 7 minutes.

The champagne itself? Fresh, citrusy, delicate brioche notes and elegant minerality – a classic de Sousa indeed. And in the it could then unfold beautifully.

In short: Beezer test passed – spontaneous champagne evening saved!_ Do you know ? Or do you stay Team Patience and Refrigerator? I'm curious about your opinions!

Tasting Notes

A fresh champagne with citrus fruit aromas, delicate brioche notes and elegant minerality. Classic de Sousa style.
