Bonnaire — Cramant Vintage 2016

Cramant Vintage 2016

Bonnaire | Blanc de Blancs | Vintage 2016

The Bonnaire Cramant Vintage 2016 – a Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru from the Côte des Blancs.

Bonnaire & Paul Clouet – Two names, one family. Although Bonnaire (Cramant) and Paul Clouet (Bouzy) operate as independent brands, they belong to the same family and are produced together in Cramant. While Bonnaire stands for elegant, mineral Blanc de Blancs, Paul Clouet's champagnes are characterized by the powerful Pinot Noir from Bouzy.

The tasting – Cramant Vintage 2016: 100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru vineyards. Vintage 2016 – aged five years on the lees. Aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits, ripe apple & almond. On the palate, fine creaminess, fresh acidity & precise minerality. Dosage: Brut – provides perfect balance.

The label – and the question about the bear: A bear on a champagne label? Not necessarily the first motif you'd expect. Perhaps a nod to strength, elegance and character – just like this champagne.

Tasting Notes

An elegant Blanc de Blancs with aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits, ripe apple and almond. On the palate, fine creaminess, fresh acidity and precise minerality.
