Legras & Haas — Les Visions Grand Cru

Les Visions Grand Cru

Legras & Haas | Blanc de Blancs

Chouilly in the Côte des Blancs is often known for its somewhat more "generous" and creamier Chardonnays. But this shows with the "Les Visions" that you can also find incredible precision and an almost laser-like structure in this Grand Cru.

This wine is not a snapshot, but – as the name suggests – a vision of the family that has been rooted in Chouilly for generations. The goal: to capture the power of the soil without sacrificing elegance.

On the nose it starts with a cool breeze: citrus zests, green apple and white flowers (acacia and hawthorn). With some air, those typical Chouilly notes of fresh brioche and an almost salty minerality come through. On the palate it's tight, lively and wonderfully focused. The bubbles are super fine and emphasize a Blanc de Blancs here for purists.

Tasting Notes

Cool nose with citrus zests, green apple and white flowers, followed by fresh brioche and salty minerality. On the palate tight, lively and focused with fine bubbles.
