Perseval-Farge — C. de Pinots 2019

C. de Pinots 2019

Perseval-Farge | Brut Nature | Vintage 2019

The C. de Pinots from Perseval-Farge appears precise, clear, structured, unpretentious – but not harsh.

Interesting: Although no dosage was added (0 g/l according to the label), the champagne carries the designation Extra Brut – and not "Brut Nature" or "Zero Dosage".

The reason? The "0 g/l" indication refers to the residual sugar measured after dégorgement – but legally decisive is the added expedition dosage.

If this is omitted, the producer can use "Brut Nature" – but doesn't have to.

Perseval-Farge prefers to stay understated here – and simply calls it Extra Brut. Fits the style: dry, but never raised dry.

Pinot Noir brings backbone, Meunier the roundness – together this creates a harmonious champagne.

Pure, without pairing – that's exactly how it fits best. A champagne that speaks for itself. Reduced. Powerful. Clean.

A true character wine for quiet, attentive moments.
