Millésime 2013

Rare Champagne | Prestige Cuvée | Vintage 2013

The Rare Millésime 2013 – not just a bottle, but a whole story.

Grape varieties: 70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir Vineyards: 11 Crus (79% Grand Cru, 21% Premier Cru) Aging: 8 years on lees Dégorgement: December 2022 Dosage: 9 g/l Aromas: Flowers, green tea, honey, citrus, vanilla Palate: Silky, fruity, complex, fine bitterness, long finish

Rare is not an everyday champagne – and it's not meant to be. It's the Prestige Cuvée that originally comes from Piper-Heidsieck and is run as its own brand. Only made in special years – 2013 was only the 13th vintage ever.

Tasting Notes

Silky, fruity champagne with complex character, combining aromas of flowers, green tea, honey, citrus and vanilla. A fine bitterness and long finish round out the experience.
