Petite Dame Noire 2022
Bruyen & Macquart | Brut | Vintage 2022
The "Petite Dame Noire" from Bruyen & Macquart – a champagne that reveals new facets with every glass change.
In a wider glass, it gives the wine exactly the breadth it deserves. The Meunier grip is still there, but it feels much fuller and creamier.
On the nose, this distinctive herbal spice and ripe lemon; on the palate, noticeably more volume than in a narrower glass. It's fascinating how a glass can shift perception: away from pure precision, toward a full-bodied, juicy experience.
The "little sister" of the Bruyen line is absolutely grown up. An honest, characterful wine that takes on a completely different character in the sunshine.
Tasting Notes
Distinctive herbal spice and ripe lemon on the nose, full-bodied and creamy on the palate with Meunier grip. An honest, characterful champagne with juicy volume.
