Champagne Bruyen: Grande Réserve 2019

Champagne Bruyen: Grande Réserve 2019

The Cuvée

Champagne Bruyen is a young, ambitious project based in Reims that focuses on old vines and the often underrated Pinot Meunier. Winemaking is done parcel by parcel, partly in stainless steel, partly in oak barrels, depending on what each vineyard plot demands. This creates champagnes with clear origin and character.

The Grande Réserve is the accessible calling card of the house: a crowd-pleaser at a high level, straightforward and fresh, with clear citrus tension from lime and quince and creamy notes from malolactic fermentation. Approachable and flavorful, without being banal. Exactly the kind of bottle you open when the wine needs to impress without requiring a fifteen-minute lecture about terroir beforehand.

Champagne Bruyen: Grande Réserve 2019

A perfect champagne for business meetings on the terrace. When the vibes are right and you're on a good wavelength, a champagne can be opened too. The "Grande Réserve" from Bruyen is ideal for this.

In business meetings, not every partner is immediately an absolute champagne nerd. You need a wine that's a real "crowd-pleaser," but at a high level! It can't seem banal or boring, but at the same time it has to be approachable and taste good without having to give a 15-minute lecture about terroir first.
