Louis Roederer — Cristal 2015

Cristal 2015

Louis Roederer | Prestige Cuvée | Vintage 2015

The Louis Roederer Cristal 2015 is a champagne that needs no grand introduction. Best served in the Josephinen No. 4 – a glass that gives the wine air and space. Not by chance, but by design.

Because the Cristal feels extensively mineral, deep, citrusy – with saline energy, fine spices and a silky length. Elegance, power and precision in perfect balance.

60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay. 2015 – a hot, dry vintage with taut structure. Served at about 50-52°F – not too cold, to show its depth. Partially aged in wood, no malolactic fermentation. Aging potential: decades.

Cristal is a champagne for very conscious enjoyment – not because this bottle tastes significantly better than many others, but because it shows Roederer's signature in its purest form.

Tasting Notes

Extensively mineral and deep with citrus notes, saline energy and fine spices. Silky length with elegance, power and precision in perfect balance.
