Marteaux Guillaume: Infusion

Infusion

Marteaux Guillaume | Rosé

A champagne full of aromas and surprises, the Infusion never fails to impress!

The combination of chocolate mousse and this champagne is a perfect match. The red fruit notes and spice of the Infusion harmonize beautifully with creamy chocolate. An orange-mango mirror, fresh raspberries, and hazelnuts also bring exciting complexity into play, though sometimes less is more.

For the Infusion, I recommend a bulbous red wine glass. Its almost red wine-like character, shaped by the Rosé de Saignée method and Pinot Meunier dominance, comes through excellently in this type of glass. The glass ideally highlights the bold aromas and spicy notes.

What makes this champagne special?

  • Rosé de Saignée: Intense color and powerful aromas through brief maceration of the grape skins.
  • Composition: 80% Pinot Meunier, 20% Chardonnay.
  • Taste: Red berries like cranberry and black cherry, paired with spicy notes.
  • Extra Brut: At 3.5 g/l Dosage, dry but wonderfully balanced.

Tasting Notes

A rosé-style champagne with intense red berry notes like cranberry and black cherry, complemented by spicy accents. Through the Rosé de Saignée method, it's bold and almost red wine-like in character.
