– Carte Blanche – 4 Cépages - Brut.

A glass for all occasions – and for grape variety enthusiasts, a little highlight: The Carte Blanche is a cuvée made from four grape varieties, including Pinot Blanc, which is rarely used in Champagne.

Just opened it without ceremony – no big expectations, no grand stage. But what emerges is a pleasantly aged cuvée from the Côte des Bar with fresh structure: approachable, full-bodied, nicely matured.

A champagne you could definitely put back on your shelf for a second time.

Facts: Assemblage of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier & Pinot Blanc Origin: Celles-sur-Ource – Côte des Bar Aging: in stainless steel tanks Dosage: Brut (approx. 8 g/l) ️ Aging: approx. 24 months on lees ️ Serving temperature: 8–10 °C Style: soft, fruity, with fine spice, good balance and a little aromatic twist from the rather rare Pinot Blanc

A little aha-moment and a calm, honest sip.
