Épisode 21: Tour d'Horizon 2019

Champagne Faivre | Extra Brut | Vintage 2019

The Champagne Faivre, Épisode 21, Tour d'Horizon pairs beautifully with a classic Chicken Tikka Masala with basmati rice and creamy raita.

Lots of flavor, lots of warmth, but not overwhelming. I'm already familiar with two other cuvées from Faivre, and I have this confident feeling: This bottle is perfect for Indian food. And that's exactly how it turns out.

An exciting blend made exclusively from reserve wines from 2019 and 2020. 20% of it aged in wood, the rest in enamel tanks, and with malolactic fermentation completed. Dosage: 0.5 g/l, so a true Extra Brut.

Tasting Notes

Fine, spicy champagne with cool minerality and precision. Dry, clear and characterful with enough backbone for aromatic dishes.
