Guillaume Marteaux — Le Métisse

Le Métisse

Guillaume Marteaux | Extra Brut

The Guillaume Marteaux – Le Métisse pairs excellently with fine grilled fish, such as sea bass with lemon slices, rosemary and garlic, alongside a fresh salad of herbs and edible flowers with burrata and subtle dressing.

Why Le Métisse?

  • A classic cuvée of Chardonnay (45%), Pinot Meunier (36%) and Pinot Noir (19%), perfectly balanced for fine fish dishes.
  • Extra Brut with only 3.5 g/l dosage – dry and elegant, without sacrificing fruit.
  • Ages 6 years on the lees, giving it a wonderfully complex aromatic palette: vineyard peach, pear, honey, paired with a hint of buttery brioche.
  • A champagne that cuts an excellent figure both on its own and with food.

Tasting Notes

An elegant Extra Brut cuvée with only 3.5 g/l dosage that develops a complex aromatic palette after 6 years of lees aging. Dry and elegant, yet fruity with delicate brioche notes.
