Collection 244 2019

Louis Roederer | Brut | Vintage 2019

The Louis Roederer Collection 244 in the magnum bottle, a great wine doesn't need a great occasion. Sometimes the right mood is enough.

The house's 244th harvest, with 54% of the base wines from 2019, complemented by 36% Reserve Perpetuelle and 10% reserve wines from oak barrels.

The style? Elegant, clear, precise. Fresh fruit, fine spice, taut minerality. A champagne with structure, but also with finesse.

Assemblage: 41% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Noir, 26% Pinot Meunier. Reserve perpetuelle: 36% from older vintages (2012-2018). Reserve wines from oak barrels: 10%. Dosage: 7 g/l (Brut). Malolactic fermentation: approx. 35% of base wines.

A modern classic, in the magnum simply even more impressive.

Tasting Notes

Elegant, clear and precise with fresh fruit, fine spice and taut minerality. A champagne with structure, but also with finesse.
