Nicolas Maillart: Mont Martin 2019

Mont Martin 2019

Nicolas Maillart | Extra Brut | Vintage 2019

Not a single bottle from Nicolas Maillart has ever disappointed me. Each one has its own character, but the style is always clear, clean, precise.

The Mont Martin 2019 is a single varietal Meunier, grown on clay-limestone soil over a chalk base, and a strong example of this uncompromising style.

Tasting Notes

A structured Meunier with minerality and freshness, showing more citrus and herbal notes than upfront fruit. The combination of oak aging and skipping malolactic fermentation gives it depth and grip.
