Veuve Olivier et Fils — Millésimé 2018

Millésimé 2018

Veuve Olivier et Fils | Prestige Cuvée | Vintage 2018

A cozy afternoon and a bit of time for champagne – Millésimé 2018, enjoyed from my Dom Pérignon glasses.

2018 was a generous year. Ripe grapes, lots of balance, few rough edges, which shows in the glass too: powerful yellow fruit, some warmth, fine spice and bubbles that seem calm, almost composed.

A champagne that, despite its complexity and depth, fits perfectly into everyday life – and shines on quiet afternoons when there are still a few tasks left on the list.

Tasting Notes

Powerful yellow fruit with some warmth and fine spice. The bubbles seem calm and composed, the champagne shows complexity and depth with good everyday drinkability.
