Piot-Sévillano | Rosé

The third flight with three contrasting bottles from Piot-Sévillano focuses on fruit, color, and expectations: Pinot Noir, Rosé, Demi-Sec – deliberately placed side by side to see where preconceptions are confirmed and where they completely dissolve.

The bottles:

Cuvée Impertinente Taut acidity, mouth-watering, almost chardonnay-like. Gooseberry, citrus peel, lots of freshness. -> 100% Pinot Noir · 6.5 g/l

Rosé Âme de la Rive Droite Very approachable, beautiful acidity, red fruit cooler rather than sweet. Unsweetened strawberry jam instead of candy. -> 60% Meunier (15% red wine) · 25% Pinot Noir · 15% Chardonnay · 7 g/l

Noct'en Bulles The biggest surprise of the flight. Despite 35 g/l, hardly as sweet as expected: apple, brioche, apricot, mango. More balance than dessert. -> 75% Meunier · 25% Pinot Noir · 35 g/l

Tasting Notes

Flight with three contrasting styles: The Cuvée Impertinente shows taut acidity with gooseberry and citrus, the Rosé convinces with cool red fruit, and the Demi-Sec Noct'en Bulles surprises despite 35 g/l dosage with balance instead of flat sweetness.
