Pinot Blanc Millésime 2018

Colette Bonnet | Brut Nature | Vintage 2018

Sometimes a bottle starts telling its story before you even open it.

That's exactly what happened with the Pinot Blanc Millésime 2018: During unboxing, a completely unlabeled bottle appeared, with an info sheet included, but it felt a bit like "straight from the winery."

I found it pretty charming, so I wrote to Colette.

Her response: a misunderstanding, and shortly after, a small envelope was in the mailbox with labels to apply yourself.

Now officially labeled, and opened.

So far already a bottle that will definitely stay in my memory.

A pure Pinot Blanc, vintage 2018, organically grown, vinified with care. In the glass calm, creamy, with aromas of pear, almond, blossom honey and a hint of wax. Pleasant, well-balanced acidity, definitely a wine where you can taste the handwork and love for the product.

I tried it in the glass, which was perfect. Some room to develop, but still clear enough to maintain the fine tension.

Tasting Notes

A calm, creamy champagne with aromas of pear, almond, blossom honey and a hint of wax. Well-balanced acidity, where you can taste the handwork and love for the product.
