Solera RP.B Extra Brut

Robert Allait | Extra Brut

Same champagne -> the Solera RP.B – Extra Brut from

Three glasses -> Three completely different experiences.

-> No. 4: Elegance & finesse – the aromatic tension of the Solera aging remains rather focused. The perlage feels lively, the oxidative note shows restraint. Ideal for getting started. (The post about this is still coming)

-> One for all: Rounder, softer, broader – the structure comes out stronger, creamier on the palate, nuttier on the finish. Those roasted aromas back then (post from early May) with the burger? A dream.

-> WineWings: In the large, bulbous glass comes the grand entrance. The bulbous glass gives the champagne room – and it uses it. Less mousse, but more texture. The RP-B almost feels like an aged white wine – with depth, salinity and that typical Solera complexity.

Tasting Notes

A characterful Solera champagne with oxidative depth, creamy texture and nutty roasted aromas. Depending on the glass, it shows elegant-focused all the way to aged white wine complexity with salinity.
