Bauchet — Cuvée Origine 2018

Cuvée Origine 2018

Bauchet | Rosé | Vintage 2018

Why "Origine"? Because this champagne starts exactly where the Bauchet family's story began in 1920. It's the "mirror of Champagne" – a harmonious blend from Côte des Bar, Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims.

What particularly surprises me: On the nose it's incredibly playful. You immediately smell fresh strawberries, raspberries and red currants. With a bit of air it becomes creamier and on the palate you can taste the artisanal touch and the explanation for that beautiful creaminess: 6% of the wine was aged in oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, playful with fresh strawberries, raspberries and red currants. With air it becomes creamier, with the partial oak barrel aging providing the beautiful creaminess on the palate.
