Who says opening champagne always looks elegant?
The Les Vicomtes bottle from comes with a ficelage of sturdy hemp cord, hand-tied, rustic, beautiful. And, I'll admit: a real opponent when you've never opened such a bottle before and have no idea how the ficelage is knotted under the beautiful wax seal.
But: The little struggle was worth it. In the glass then powerful, spicy, salty, with depth and structure. Not a crowd-pleasing easy sipper, but a champagne with ambition and character.

Die Flasche Les Vicomtes von @champagneaetctoullec kommt mit einer Ficelage aus robuster Hanfschnur – handgebunden, rustikal, wunderschön. Und, zugegeben: ein echter Gegner, wenn man soeine Flasche vorher noch nie geöffnet hat und keinen Plan hat, wie die Ficelage unter dem schönen Wachssiegel verknotet ist. 🤺🍇 Aber: Der kleine Kampf hat sich gelohnt. Im Glas dann kraftvoll, würzig, salzig – mit Tiefe und Struktur.
