Domaine Villa Bon Accueil: Les Danaïdes

Les Danaïdes

Domaine Villa Bon Accueil | Extra Brut

Domaine Villa Bon Accueil is a micro-domaine run by Geoffrey and Deborah Bonvalet (postal address in Pierry near Épernay). Les Danaïdes is their single-varietal Meunier Cuvée: a Perpétuelle Reserve spanning 2018 to 2021, vinified parcel by parcel, aged entirely in 14 old oak barrels, with an Extra Brut Dosage.

Tasting Notes

Aging in oak barrels gives the Meunier a beautifully deep structure and a very slightly oxidative, enormously characterful touch, without losing any of its freshness. With the extremely low Extra Brut Dosage, the pure, unadulterated fruit of the Meunier really gets to shine.
