Domaine Villa Bon Accueil

Domaine Villa Bon Accueil is a genuine micro-domaine, run by Geoffrey and Deborah Bonvalet (postal address in Pierry, near Épernay). Here, everything happens on the smallest possible scale, with an approach more commonly associated with Burgundy domaines: plot-by-plot vinification, uncompromising fruit selection, and aging that takes place entirely in old oak barrels.

Production is so small that individual Cuvées come from as few as 14 barrels. This isn't a marketing anecdote, it's the core of the concept: anyone producing so little simply can't afford to work with a mediocre plot.

Style

The house's signature is pure varietal Pinot Meunier with structure. Barrel aging gives the wines depth and a slightly oxidative, characterful edge, without sacrificing freshness. Dosage is kept low (Extra Brut), so the pure fruit of the Meunier stays front and center. For the reserve base, the house works with a Perpétuelle Reserve spanning multiple vintages.
