E&S Malherme: Blanc de Noirs Alliance Brut

The Cuvée

E&S Malherme presents a clear, straightforward Blanc de Noirs with the Alliance. One hundred percent Pinot, no frills: dry structure, fine spice, powerful enough for rich sauces and still fresh enough to maintain balance. An unpretentious, honest champagne for the moment, one you don't have to analyze but simply drink.

My Tastings

I actually hadn't planned any champagne for lunch. But then the sun came out, and the vibe on the terrace just called for it. The aroma from the kitchen of Swedish meatballs with cream sauce, croquettes, and lingonberries already in my nose, so I quickly thought about what might work, and reached for: Champagne E&S Malherme, Blanc de Noirs, Alliance Brut.

100% Pinot, clear style, no gimmicks. Dry structure, fine spice, powerful enough for the sauce, fresh enough for balance. I didn't know this champagne yet and had to let myself be surprised, and that's exactly what worked.
