E&S Malherme

Champagne E&S Malherme is run by Sandra Liebart in Vandières, a village on the right bank of the Vallée de la Marne. The maison focuses on the classic Marne signature: Pinot Meunier as the main grape variety, complemented by Pinot Noir. The style: clear, straightforward, no gimmicks.

Vignoble & Terroir

The grape variety breakdown is 70% Pinot Meunier and 30% Pinot Noir, a distribution that reflects the identity of the Vallée de la Marne, where Meunier traditionally dominates. For the Blanc de Blancs cuvée White Elégance, the house also manages a Chardonnay parcel.

The Cuvées in Detail

Black Alliance: Blanc de Noirs

The house's main cuvée combines 70% Meunier with 30% Pinot Noir: a clear, straightforward Blanc de Noirs with dry structure and fine spice. Powerful enough for rich sauces, yet fresh and balanced; the Meunier weight provides drinkability, the Pinot Noir provides structure.
