Achille Princier — produced by Mansard Maxime

Achille Princier is a champagne brand from Mareuil-le-Port in the Vallée de la Marne. The bottles are produced by Mansard Maxime, a 5th generation family operation that farms 24 hectares. Achille Princier appears as an independent brand but has no website or presence of its own — the connection runs exclusively through the producer.

Vinification

For the cuvées under the Achille Princier label, only the first pressing (cuvée) is used. The champagnes age traditionally for several years before being disgorged. The Grande Réserve Brut is dosed at 9 g/l.

The Cuvées in Detail

Grande Réserve Brut

A balanced champagne with creamy texture and fine acidity. Aromas of nectarine, Gala apple, white flowers, and brioche shape the profile. The assemblage is evenly distributed across the three grape varieties, the first pressing brings finesse, and the multi-year aging provides structure. Served at around 9°C.

35% Chardonnay · 35% Pinot Noir · 30% Meunier · 9 g/l Dosage
