Champagne Paul Bara

Champagne Paul Bara

Champagne Paul Bara is a traditional Grand Cru grower house from Bouzy, one of the most famous Pinot Noir villages of Montagne de Reims. The family has been rooted in Bouzy since 1833 and has been making champagne exclusively from their own vines for generations, now in its sixth generation.

Vineyard & Style

The house cultivates around 11 hectares in Bouzy, predominantly Pinot Noir, complemented by some Chardonnay, distributed across numerous Grand Cru parcels on the south-facing, chalky slopes. This origin shapes the style: powerful, structured and simultaneously mineral champagnes, as they are characteristic of Bouzy. The repertoire also includes the rare Bouzy Rouge, a still red wine made from Pinot Noir.

The Cuvées

House classics are the Brut Réserve Grand Cru as their calling card as well as the Grand Rosé de Bouzy, plus vintage and prestige cuvées that showcase the depth of Bouzy Pinot Noir.
