Champagne Edouard Martin
Champagne Edouard Martin is a vigneron maison (RM) from Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims. Founded in 1940 by Edouard Martin, who built the first lodge on the oldest parcel. Today Jean Baptiste Martin runs the maison in the 4th generation.
History
Edouard Martin founded the maison in 1940 and erected the lodge on the oldest parcel — a deliberate act of establishing roots in Grand Cru Bouzy. The maison remained family-owned for three generations.
Since 2026, Jean Baptiste Martin has been running the house in the fourth generation. This year also saw the creation of the Art Edition with street art artist Crey132 — a collaboration that adds a contemporary facet to the traditional winery.
Vignoble & Terroir
The maison cultivates parcels in Bouzy (Grand Cru) and Cumières (Premier Cru, Vallée de la Marne). The oldest parcel is located in Bouzy, where the first lodge was also built in 1940. Cumières brings the taut acidity that is clearly felt in the Brut Tradition.
Vinification
Aging takes place in stainless steel tanks — a deliberate choice for precise, clear fruit without wood intervention. The dosage is 7 g/l (Brut Tradition), which doesn't mask the natural acidity from the parcels but balances it charmingly. The philosophy aims for balance between accessibility and structure, without covering up the mineral signature of the terroir.

Special edition in collaboration with street art artist Crey132. Fresh start with a soft progression and fine minerality on the finish. The taut acidity from the Cumières parcels is charmingly balanced by 7g dosage — a modern classic with a clear line.
