Champagne Delamotte
Champagne Delamotte was founded in 1760 in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and is therefore among the oldest champagne houses in the region. The maison is based in the Grand Cru on the Côte des Blancs, the Chardonnay heart of Champagne. The house is currently led by Didier Depond.
History
Maison Delamotte looks back on over 260 years of history. Founded in 1760 in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, the house has since dedicated itself to expressing the Côte des Blancs. The long continuity and rootedness in Grand Cru terroir continue to shape the maison's style today.
Vignoble & Soil
Delamotte is anchored in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, one of the most prestigious Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs. The terroir is oriented toward Chardonnay cultivation, the soils are typical for the Côte des Blancs: chalk-influenced, limestone-rich, with excellent drainage and mineral expression. Vinification
