Maison Gamet

Maison Gamet

Maison Gamet is a Récoltant-Manipulant from Mardeuil in the Vallée de la Marne. The Maison cultivates vines in three villages: Mardeuil, Damery and Fleury-la-Rivière.

Vignoble & Soil

Maison Gamet's vineyards are spread across three locations along the Marne: Mardeuil, Damery and Fleury-la-Rivière. The focus is on Meunier – in the Cuvée Rive Droite, the grape variety makes up 85 percent, complemented by 15 percent Pinot Noir.

Vinification

The Cuvée Rive Droite is aged in stainless steel tanks. The Maison works with reserve wines: The 2022 base wine is blended with 30 percent reserve from 2021. The dosage is 4 g/l for the Extra-Brut version.

The Cuvées in Detail

Rive Droite Extra Brut

A juicy Meunier champagne from the right bank of the Marne. Base wine 2022 with 30 percent reserve from 2021, 20 months on lees, dégorgement in March 2025. Ripe pear, yellow stone fruit and a hint of apple compote shape the profile, plus a creamy texture and light salinity on the palate.
