Romain Henin — Vigneron Champenois Nature from Reuil

Romain Henin is a Récoltant-Manipulant from Reuil in the Vallée de la Marne. The Maison works vineyards in Reuil and around Aÿ. Henin follows a consistently natural approach, which is concentrated in his experimental series "La Bulle Libre": champagnes without added sulfur, without filtration, without fining, without dosage.

Vignoble & Soil

The vignoble is located in Reuil and also uses sites around Aÿ. The exact acreage and grape variety distribution are not currently documented. However, the two known cuvées show both pure Meunier from the Vallée de la Marne as well as classic assemblage with an emphasis on Meunier and Pinot Noir.

Viticulture & Sustainability

Henin calls himself a "Vigneron Champenois Nature" and follows an artisanal approach with minimal intervention. The philosophy aims for maximum authenticity and reduction in both the vineyard and the cellar. Certifications are not documented, but the approach is clearly oriented toward the natural spectrum.

Vinification

The documented champagnes from the "La Bulle Libre" series are traditionally crafted, naturally produced, and bottled unfiltered and unfined. Dosage is 0 g/l — all known cuvées are Brut Nature. Whether stainless steel, wood, or a combination is used has not yet been verified. The philosophy is purist: no added sulfur, no fining, no filtration. The champagnes are meant to show with edges and character what the grapes bring.
