Champagne Thierry Massin is a Récoltant-Manipulant from Ville-sur-Arce in the Côte des Bar (Aube). Led by Thierry Massin. Their motto appears on the inside of the coiffe: Hommes de Terre, Hommes de Vin, People of the soil, people of wine.
Vignoble & Soil
The vines are planted in Ville-sur-Arce on argilo-calcaire, clay-limestone soil, typical of the southern Champagne region. Pinot Noir dominates the portfolio.
Viticulture & Sustainability
The maison is HVE-certified (Haute Valeur Environnementale). The approach is natural, focused on terroir, without flashy style or show.
Vinification
Thierry Massin works with reserve wines. The Contrées cuvée, for example, uses 82% reserve wines, complemented by 18% from the 2021 vintage. The philosophy: craftsmanship with conviction, no flashy style.
