Champagne Le Clandestin

Champagne Le Clandestin

Le Clandestin is the project of Benoît Doussot, a winemaker from Nuits-Saint-Georges in Burgundy who fell in love with the terroir of the Côte des Bar in southern Champagne. With a Burgundian perspective on site and parcel, he works in Landreville to express what these often underestimated Aube soils have to say.

Vineyard & Style

The work is consistently natural, organically certified in the vineyard, with spontaneous fermentations in the cellar, neutral wood, no fining, no filtration and no dosage. The focus is on the purity of each individual site and vintage.

The Cuvées

The most famous flagship is Les Grandes Lignes, a Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature that shows the Chardonnay side of the Côte des Bar with tension and minerality.
