Champagne Suenen

Champagne Suenen is a grower house from Cramant, a Grand Cru village on the Côte des Blancs and one of Champagne's great Chardonnay addresses. Led by Aurélien Suenen, the house stands for uncompromisingly terroir-driven Blanc de Blancs: pure precision, chalky minerality and a bone-dry, tension-filled style.

Suenen deliberately keeps public information to a minimum, but what ends up in the glass speaks for itself, like the Oiry Blanc de Blancs, which captures the chalky clarity of the Côte des Blancs to perfection. Founding details and vineyard structure aren't comprehensively documented, but the style is clear: Chardonnay, chalk, uncompromising character.
