Champagne Eric Rodez

Champagne Eric Rodez

Champagne Eric Rodez is a vigneron-maison from Ambonnay, Grand Cru in the Montagne de Reims. Led by Eric Rodez, who is both the main contact and driving force of the house.

Vignoble & Soil

The vines are located in Ambonnay, one of the most prestigious Grand Cru villages in Champagne. The soils are dominated by chalk — the so-called Crayères, which also give the house's flagship its name. These underground chalk layers store water and provide the champagnes with mineral depth.

The Cuvées in Detail

Cuvée des Crayères Edition 37

The cuvée combines 60% Pinot Noir with 40% Chardonnay from the chalk-influenced terroir. Multi-layered on the nose with ripe yellow fruits, brioche, almond and a fine spiciness. On the palate, creamy structure, fine bubbles and a balance between freshness and depth, leading to a long, nutty-toned finish.

60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay · Brut · Terroir: Chalk (Crayères)
